I would do two things if I *had* to live here. One is buy a floating island or two and put them together to give me more counter space and storage space. The other is a bit more controversial, but since you have that incredibly long hallway, I would put up shelving, like wire shelving and either make curtain type covers and have a funky art and photo wall all down the other side, or instead of curtains, matching bins/baskets. I would also consider some artificial gro lighting and maybe use some of the shelving space I put up to grow an indoor garden where you can easily grow herbs, some garlic and even tomatoes!

Cool place to display art I guess. I wouldn't mind it, some added privacy and separation from the front door. It obviously is the result of subdividing a larger apartment, lol. I like that the Floorplan is pretty open unlike most old New York apartments
