You can’t do Mufasa and Scar without James Earl Jones and Jeremy Irons respectively. And they lost their chance to do a proper animated prequel. Nobody wanted a prequel to the non canon “live action” reboot. Disney is so out of touch of what fans want.

That's actually the funniest thing. They didn't need to change anything to make it a success. Tell the original story. Cast a likeable Snow White. Use humans as the dwarfs. Instead they chose to wreck everything.

Put into perspective, Snow White and the Huntsman (2012). A movie with a $170 million budget. Made globally $396.6 million back. Menaing it made its money back, and very little profit if any.

That was running on the then *LIKABLE* Kristen Stewart as the lead.

This has a much bigger budget, even with the little time of inflation, and has the most *UNLIKABLE* actress of modern time.

Snow White will never see those kinds of numbers! It will be lucky to reach 200 million globally if there are enough clueless or dunce individuals to go see it, excluding the very tiny amount that is out of curiosity.

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't even cross 100 million globally.
