MEASURE TWICE CUT ONCE! For precision measurements use a tape measure. Trust me, life is easier this way.
A dollar is about 1/8th longer than six inches.
Know the length of your thumb to your pinky. Mine is just under ten inches. This works great for measuring fish. When in doubt add an inch or 5 inches!

I was renting an apartment, what i was doing was laying on ground than putting my finger where my head was and than putting my leg and laying down again= 2* my height 😂.. the owner was confused like why i was on the ground
