In this presentation, back to "The Singer" (I'm a Singer 2024), Dimash participates as a guest and Chanté Moore competes for the award. In this context, we see (just as it was with "You Raise Me Up" with children, in China) a more restrained Dimash and serving as a "ladder" for Chanté's brilliant performance. It's a shame they didn't win this duet and it's a shame Chanté didn't move forward in the program, after her other performances! In time: Chanté Moore is already an experienced singer: She was born in 1967 (57 years old) and maintains an impressive youthfulness! Chanté has been singing R&B for over 30 years!
A behind-the-scenes curiosity from channels specializing in Dimash: The choice of which guest will sing with the participant is made in the program by the production team. Dimash, considered a Chinese "adopted" by the program, was selected for Chanté Moore (one of the criteria was to place the participant with a guest Chinese artist) and they had to agree on the song to be sung. Dimash asked Chanté which song she preferred to do and she replied that Loose Control was in her proposals to be presented during the program... Dimash said that was ok and that she would take the spotlight, while he would do the harmonization! It was excellent, even though the duo didn't win!

Chanté Moore was nominated for a Grammy and produced ten albums. She’s been a US JAZZ/R&B singer/songwriter/performer for 32 years. Her experience shows in her saucy attitude and confidence on stage. She and Dimash had a lot of fun doing this duet. They have a lot of chemistry. She is a strong partner for Dimash. The producers brought him in to be a partner with one of the contestants, and put him with Dimash. A dynamite 🧨 duet, but she didn’t win the duets segment. She/they should have IMO. 🎉❤🎉

Fyi, Dimash sang a brand new song (premier of the song) at the Singer 2024 in the next episode. "Angel Love" which is on his YouTube channel. Absolutely gorgeous Kazakh song but he sang the last few verses in mandarin. Orchestration and production are amazing.

Rhythm and Blues (RnB)? Why not? Of course Dimash! Here's the recipe for a cover to take you to the next level. Two excellent singers who have a lot of fun together and have lots of energy. (Guest in the competition) and Chanté (competitor) turn this performance of the song into a big fireworks display. I'm having a lot of fun and can't help but grin from ear to ear.

* Chanté Torrane Moore (*1967) is an American singer-songwriter, actress and author. Moore rose to fame in the early 1990s and established herself as an R&B singer, produced 10 albums and was nominated for a Grammy.
In 2024 she coached the contestants on the Singer Show and also took part in the competition herself. Unfortunately she didn't get far because the Chinese don't know R'nB.

Dimash News: Before the airing of “I am a Singer 2024, ” Dimash said: “I want to sincerely thank the organizers of the project, who try to invite me every year. Performing on this stage is a great honor for me.”

In the final round of the project, special guests came to support the seven participants. Dimash performed as an honorary guest a duet with American singer and actress Chanté Moore, who taked part in the competition and whose work is associated with contemporary R&B and jazz crossover. The audience felt the creative “chemistry” between the artists, witnessing absolute stage interaction and complete vocal harmony between two masters of their craft. Dimash and Chanté performed the hit “Lose Control” by American singer and songwriter Teddy Swims.
