Dimash doesn’t want to sign with some big company who will make him sing their songs, wear what they want. He wants complete freedom of choice. This is the reason many people in the west haven’t heard of him. His father and uncle set up a company to produce his work. Dimash has integrity and is more concerned with his creativity than commercialism. He is very special. He has two concerts in may, Budapest next week and Istanbul at the end of may on his birthday. I’m going to both. I am 79 year old lady from U.K., People come thousands of miles to see him. He is very understated off stage, no ego, but on stage, he explodes.

I discovered Dimash on youtube seven years ago when his 2017 version of this song on the Chinese reality show, I Am Singer, went viral. He is from Kazakhstan and was already famous there and was invited to compete along with China's best on that Chinese talent show. The one you just watched was a live performance, one of a number of songs he did for a live digital show that was produced for his fans during the Covid lockdowns when he could not do stage shows. The musicians and producers with whom he works are some of the best in the world, and they are mostly friends and acquaintances of his in Kazakhstan. There is no one as talented or creative on the planet. Dimash is a phenomenon who sings in about 15 languages, speaks three of them quite well, plays at least seven instruments perfectly, and creates some of the most amazing music on the planet while using his 7.7 octave voice. Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and would be completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. I discovered him in a show called the World’s Best where he was treated rudely by Rupaul when he pulled out of the competition, he found out he was competing with children. Kazakhs dont compete with children. Since then I’ve listened to Dimash during breaks & before I go to bed. His voice relaxes me, I’m 74 yrs old & I’ve listened to a lot of great singers, but Dimash is on another level, no one else can reach that level of talent.not to mention that he’s also a great humanitarian.

Best rabbit hole you can find. You can not imagine what he can do with that golden voice. Pretty much any genre he wants, and in multiple languages. He may do full on opera today, pop tomorrow, rock, rap, or a combination of them all in one song. Stranger is a must and it will be in English along with his last MV, When I've Got You, also in Englsih. One song sounds like something from an amazing movie and the other is rock blues vibes complete with a vampire MV.
