Ironically, this would probably be how it would turn out. Gappy’s hand-to-hand combat was fucking insane. He fought off two Rock Humans at the same time and managed to do that with mostly without his stand (only using it to completely incapacitate them after). Let’s be honest, none of their stands have enough of the destructive capabilities to even land a dent on Soft & Wet before he does some crazy shit and blows them up, and we definitely know he isn’t gonna show mercy.

Imagine the VIP person who owns the mansion is josuke, he says he is related to jodio, they realize the principle is the real villain, the principle resets them all back to fetuses.

To be fair in the chapter Jodio does say they weren’t ready, which implies that they encountered a MASSIVE obstacle.

This is why he should be in part 9. Think about it. Jodio's November Rain is just heavy rain and he needs to stand directly next to his enemy to use it. With Josuke's combat abilities, he could help teach Jodio how to fight without his stand.

They first see this Japanese guy using his stand, they confront him and not in a nice way, he humbles them without using Soft & Wet. And Josuke can only really approximately aim Go Beyond, so without Yasuho guiding it, it'd be easy to dodge, so he just doesn't use it.
