About the presenter:
Will Finnerty (B'94) is the head of Finnerty Partners within UBS Private Wealth Management in Washington, D.C. Will manages client relationships and leads all investment consulting, advanced planning, and relationship management efforts. The Finnerty Partners run a boutique operation, working with a few dozen ultra-high net worth families throughout the country, as well as internationally, with $10 million or more in investable assets. More specifically, their sole focus is helping entrepreneurs and their families organize, plan, and manage all aspects of their wealth.
Will was the top finance graduate at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Upon graduating, he received a finance award which ultimately led to his career in wealth management in 1995. In 2000, he began teaching Entrepreneurship for Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business and remained an Adjunct Professor for 16 years. Will has been recognized within UBS as a national lecturer on financial advisor development and practice management, and, from 2014 to 2016, he served as a member of UBS's Financial Advisor Advisory Committee (FAAC) to ensure UBS is the firm of choice for high net worth and ultra-high net worth investors and the advisors that serve them.
