Ingredients:
Marinate your chicken:
2 chicken thigh, skin on and boneless
Salt and pepper, to season
Cornstarch

For The Sauce:
* 3 tbsp of butter
* 5 cloves of garlic, minced
* 2 tbsp of soy sauce
* 2 tbsp of mirin
* 2 tbsp of honey
* 1 lemon juice
* 1/2 tbsp of lemon zest
* 1/2 tsp of paprika
* 1/2 tsp of chili flakes
* 1/2 tsp of black pepper

Garnish:
Sesame seeds

Steps:
1. Season the chicken thigh with salt and pepper. Coat the chicken with cornstarch and shake off excess. Set aside
2. In a pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken skin side down and fry each side for 7 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside.
3. In a pan, heat the butter over medium heat. Once it is melted, saute the garlic until fragrant for 1 minute.
4. Add in soy sauce, mirin, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, chili flakes and black pepper. Cook the sauce until it thickens.
5. Then, add the chicken back to the pan and baste the chicken with the sauce.
6. Once it is done, serve with hot steamed rice, garnish and enjoy!

I’m allergic to garlic and any onion allium type thing but can have chives so I made this but made a chive paste I mixed in then garnished w some more chive and it was delicious. Especially when I tried it with tofu! Thank you for the recipe :)
