Trump looking for ways to save TikTok

The Supreme Court on Friday unanimously decided to uphold the federal law banning TikTok beginning Sunday.

The law bans TikTok from U.S. app stores and hosting services unless its China-based owner decides to sell itself to an American buyer.

"As of January 19, the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act will make it unlawful for companies in the United States to provide services to distribute, maintain, or update the social media platform TikTok, unless U.S. operation of the platform is severed from Chinese control," the ruling read.
