It's a mixed bag.. in some cases TV looks better and in others, the Blue ray looks better. TV Jean and Floch look a lot better for example, because they don't have those really anime eyes, which makes them look more realistic, but it's opposite for Armin and Mikasa, where I would say the Blu Ray is better... But I think we can all agree that TV Armored Titan looks a lot better, nut necessarily because of art style, but because in that particular scene, Reiner is supposed to be beaten down, depressed and desperate, which the TV version captures perfectly, while the Blu Ray looks like he is looking up to his enemy and ready to take revenge any second, which doesn't fit with the story tbh..

It's crazy how the TV one actually looks better in a lot of instances.
Turning the Thunder Spear exhaust into a blu-ish shade kinda messes with the realism of the weapon a bit and makes it a bit too much like fantasy.
Also Reiner my boy, what have they done to you tf

I remember when people first saw that Sasha moment in manga they fried to fix Isayama's messed up shadows drawing. Funny to see some changes in anime exactly at this shot.

The Blu Ray improved and enhanced many areas. The CGI, the facial expressions, the color and lightning effects all look better in the Blu Ray version
