The artwork on these books makes me want an animated version of Harry Potter, holy crap they are beautiful!

I'm thai but I am living oversea so I didn't even had a chance to lay my finger on it. I WILL GET IT AS SOON AS I GET BACK TO TAHILAND
It's much more expensive than the normal hard-cover box set price (my piggy bank is crying) it's just stunning....

When the pubisher first reveal the digital version of all 7 books' cover, Thai's muggle went crazy about all those small details and easter eggs.
The artist said that he wants to design the covers that are meant to be meaningful specifically for potterheads, since this version is 20 years anniversary, rather than a plain general cover so he spent time re-reading and re-watching the whole novels/films to revisit the vibe he felt when he was young and first saw harry potter.
AND HE DID WHAT HE PROMISED! the covers are gorgeous, these sophisticate designs show his attention to what are small, yet meaningful detail in each books, both clearly showed and hidden figures.
For example, the first book cover, there are clear symbols like Chocolate frog, sorting hat, Norbert, Hogwarts etc, but also hidden ones like, the arch on the back-cover, next to harry's is a curve which you can tilt it 90 degrees and it looks like hedwig! or the window's arch behind harry on the front-cover has engraved golden snitch and nimbus 2000. These details only fans know how important they are to the story!!
If you have time, try looking for the easter eggs from these covers. It's worth the potterheads's time!! ( and even made me re-read harry potter again for the 10000th time)

If you were Thai, you would have seen SO MANY hidden symbols the artist hid in those covers. For example, on 4th book, at the top where the trophy is, it is written "Triwizard" in Thai. The banners of each school are also written with Thai alphabet (which are B, H and D in english). On 2nd books, the luggage of Harry Potter has Harry's name written in Thai and also Thai mythical creature appears on a cover i don't remember which.

I love these! The artwork is incredible, even the box. If this was in English I’d buy it right now. I love how they use more characters than the regular Harry Ron Hermione Dumbledore etc. Going to see if the artist sells the art just on its own!

I love that for once hardcovers are actually printed and don't just have a sleeve on top of a plain cover ! And they are absolutely stunning !
Now I just wonder if we could buy the paper goodies separately, like the postcards or bookmarks

The cover art gives me a very "Series of Unfortunate Events" vibe and I love it. I think this is my favorite artwork of any of the translations I've seen on these books.

PS: The first artwork for the first chapter is not the chimney at the Malfoy's Manor. It's the fireplace at Downing Street, at the British Prime Minister's office ("The Other Minister") :)

Omg this artwork it’s amazing! The quality and thought featured in every little detail. I’m completely in love with this books.
As my personal favorite... Deathly Hallows and Philosopher’s Stone, for sure. The little Harry in the cover is just adorable 😍
