USA Freedom Kids React to Backlash Over Donald Trump Theme Song

Three girls who became overnight stars after performing at a Donald Trump rally said the presidential hopeful very much approves of their message. Alexis and friends Bianca and Izzy, both 11, caught the nation's attention with their star-spangled performance in Pensacola, Florida on Wednesday. Their song is inspired by "Over There" from the classic James Cagney movie Yankee Doodle Dandy. There's been a huge reaction to the girls' performance but not everyone is enthusiastic about it. #InsideEdition

The fact that an adult wrote such laughably absurd lyrics is mind-blowing

it starts with the kids. remember when Hitler had a loyal army of children to fight for him and swear their allegiance to him before their own parents...

This guy talks about people being bullies when that whole song was basically about America being a big bully

You can tell that dad's smart because he read all those books in the backround.

I hate when parents force there beliefs on there children. Sadly these kids where most likely forced to sing this and the kids also most likely have no idea of what there singing about

I don't necessarily think Trump is against freedom, but there isn't a single policy position he has that is more pro-freedom than Bush, Clinton, Carson, Rubio, Sanders Here he is using freedom the same way McDonald's uses "I'm loving it", as a slogan.

I'm getting tired of politicians bastardizing and sloganeering the concept of freedom.

The backlash is directed at your lyrics, set to music and lip-synched by your daughters. You're getting the media attention you wanted. I hope you have taught your young, impressionable girls that getting involved in politics, however innocently, can be brutal.

The reality is, these kids sang the words Freedom, but when they sing about "strength or get crushed every time." that's literally fascism. It's about as mature as a bodybuilder/jock being a dick about how huge their muscles are too.

Do conservative Americans know that most Western countries have the same freedom and liberties as the U.S.?

All I can think of this is that its probably pretty similar to some of the stuff the nazi youth performed for hitler.

The oldest looking girl just looks bored and pissed off the whole time. She has mastered the teen angst face and with good reason. This song is low key terrifying to anyone not a white Christian male.
