I was a huge Basketball fan when I was a teen. It was right around the time when Michael Jordan made a movie (Space Jam) which I loved, while Kobe Bryant was the hot new sensation in the actual game. I still have a Kobe Bryant shirt with the number 8. (He will always be the 8 for me)
I have stopped following basketball about 13 years ago or something, even before he got a new number on his shirt. But I can still remember that time.
