another tip: if you wear socks underneath your tights, you can cange the socks every day, and dont have to wash the tights too often. so they will stay smooth and unharmed. or you can even wear socks + thermo leggings and change the socks everyday.

Last New Years (probably in the 30's F outside), I wore a short skirt and used your trick (nude fleece tights under patterned, sheer black tights). And holy crap, it genuinely looked like I was JUST wearing the black sheer pair. Kept me pretty warm! I kept doing the party trick where you pull on the nude tights to make it look like you're pulling your actual skin, and it was a hit haha Thanks, girl!

Fun Fact about pantyhose:
When they were first invented they made them too well so they didn't rip. But because they were that good, they saw a decline in women buying pantyhose so they purposefully made them to wear and tare to keep in buisness.

A lot of products are made like that so that you keep buying them to be replaced. There's actually a lightbulb that's been on since 1901, hasn't burned out yet.

My dad taught me about layering for warmth at a young age, so I've pretty much worn fleece tights and/or leggings underneath my clothes for years. + to the tights and sweaters hack! I’ve been doing this for years and you’d be surprised - I can tuck whole gowns into jeans with a pair of tights.
Also it’s funny hearing people complain about tights being uncomfortable when it’s not even an option for me not to wear them. Where I’m from everyone wears either tights or fleece leggings in winter - girls and boys!

Wearing the 2 pairs of tights is good idea the fact that it looks like your skin tone underneath...but I'm already to thick to be adding on extra layers 😄 now if I was tiny like you & tall I so wld rock this style. Good video tho

You can also wet and then freeze tights to make them a little stronger! Just put wet tights into a plastic bag, freeze, then thaw and dry. They make your cheap tights last a lot longer.

I love this chick! I'm old school and grew up wearing "tights" but we had about half a dozen names for them, depending on what kind they were. And though these hacks have been around a while, it's great that she is able to share them. I absolutely love a good pair of tights in the winter too. Here's a hack that is essential under all those layers of tights and shapewear: cotton panties.

I’ve been wearing Sheertex tights for a while and they’re honestly a game changer. I use to go through at least 5 pairs of tights each winter, which is basically the price of 1 pair of Sheertex leggings. So worth it!

Just got them. It is very cold here and i wore them yesterday, it was super warm. Love them! They look great with a thin panty over them.
