Today on offensive breakdown, I break down NFL schemes that get covered by the likes of QB School and Brett Kollmann. That’s right, the spread offensive breakdown is seen in NFL offenses and are covered by the QB School and Brett Kollmann

Not NFL Offense, But brett kollmann breaks down NFL game film and offensives. This QB School like offensive breakdown goes deep into the NFL spread concepts and how high school football can use NFL style plays covered by brett kollmann and QB School

I’m not a coach - I’m a broadcaster, but I love watching the videos that break down plays. It makes me a better broadcaster knowing how some of the plays are supposed to develop, what the QB’s reads are, etc. I don’t get that technical on a broadcast but having this kind of exposure to play calling is very helpful to what I do. Thank you for sharing your football knowledge - it is appreciated.

Love the video, we always read the end just keeps it easy for the qb. Out of dubs, we will belly motion with the slot and if the defense doesn’t react then the qb throws it. Similar to your fast motion, just coming from a different spot. My favorite is read the end, belly motion with the slot, snap the ball just before he gets to the qb, now if the qb get a pull read you have speed option with the slot receiver. It’s our version on the triple option

Love these plays, even opens the door to go trips with a seam route to bind the lb with riding the seam, and keeps the safety honest, meanwhile keeping all your rpo stuff the same.

Do you have a good video on how you prevent illegal men down field? Does the qb have an after the snap call? Or are you counting on the block on the linebacker happening within 2 yards of the line of Scrimmage?
Thank you

Coach, what program are you using to demonstrate these plays?

Good idea is during the rpo you displayed audible is making the r- wr motion in and tight to the formation near the TE/Y player and that forces defense to respect that motion and creates extra blocker for the run or throw to the fast/flash back on the motion swing route or motion pitch man.

In middle school, we see: 5, 6, and even 7 man fronts sometimes... can power RPO still work against that many on the line? or do we just run Y Stick until they pull back off? Odd man fronts seem to give me more trouble with power blocking, and I'm trying to change a few things in the offseason.

Coach this is an excellent video thanks so much. I Coach youth football and wanted to implement a this RPO. We see a lot of 5-2 and 5-3 defense at our level. could you do a video to show how it would work with a five man front defense?

Do you ever give a kick call and have the 2nd back kickout the defensive End.

I really like power read out of Split Backs. F Can block force Defender. Unlike the 4 WR sets you get 2 lead blockers to the playside on power read.

This is predicated on 2 High which most teams we see will play 1 high with an extra player in the box…please show more 1 high and cover zero plays with a run concept! Thank you!

Ultimately rpo is great when mixing in TE pa pop pass for a seem route

Or motion one of the Y/Te across for crack back block on run play can creat extra boost in yardage and cuts backs for QB OR RB’s.

Coach,

I understand your concepts with OLine play in RPO offense. Q: Why do you prefer to pull the center around to the playside LB instead of dbl-teaming the 1tech with the playside G & C to the playside LB?

Question: if you pull that center to that LB (who’s at 5yrds) and quarterback decide to pull it and hit the Y on the 4 route( or sitting in the zone). How is that not illegal man down field?

What software do u use to draw up plays?

what program are you using to draw this up ?

I've never been a fan of having a Center pull for any reason, but if you have one who's capable, then why not....

If the LB is playing outside shoulder coverage against Y, do a lead zone read to Tailback and if the inside backer in the box over Tailback commits to the run...THROW TO Y on a quick slant.

What app or website is this? A response would be greatly appreciated

In the last one, do you find that even if you read the backer as just sitting there flat foot, which is a give read, he can still make the tackle?
