Frozen's Elsa MIGHT Be A Part Of The LGBTQ Community..

Elsa’s sexuality has been a point of discussion ever since Frozen came out in 2013, and there have been speculations that she might come out of the closet in the upcoming Frozen 2. The movie's co-director Jennifer Lee says the sequel will not delve into that aspect of her life because she is not ready for a relationship.Instead, Frozen 2 is about Elsa trying to find herself, and embracing her powers. After Frozen, people from all over the world thought that Elsa can be Disney’s first LGBTQ princess, and started campaigning for it in 2016 by starting a #GiveElsaAGirlfriend campaign to push the studio to give her a gay love interest in the second part.Despite hundreds of fan theories about her sexuality, Elsa won’t have any type of romantic partner in Frozen 2.

Disney should officially make Elsa part of the LGBTQ community in Frozen 3, but not by giving her a romantic partner. Elsa has no romantic interests in both Frozen and Frozen, and this isn't necessarily a bad thing. It might simply mean that she is asexual and aromantic. To be asexual (ace) is to feel no sexual attraction, and to be aromantic (aro) is to feel no romantic attraction. Elsa (Idina Menzel) could serve as the perfect ace/aro character to represent this part of the LGBTQ community, and if Disney confirms there will be a Frozen 3, they should make this canon.

It makes sense to me in terms of her character that Elsa is alone and not waiting for love.The princess, who is the main character in Disney princesses, is constantly being rescued. What would it be like if Elsa saved her own princess?

Jesus christ, I just read the comments, all because she's single people speculate that she's automatically gay??? Wtf. I haven't watched the movies, I just figured she was on her own doing her own thing. Why does every princess have to be paired up with someone??? Is it rules from the company Disney, or is it a culture thing? Or do most people prefer things to stay as the status qou, the girl always finding love?? I used to care if she was psrt or the LGBT community, but now, I don't care, if she's happy being single then more power to her.

Elsa not having a male interest for two whole films is so refreshing for a Disney princess. I would love to see her stay single or get together with Honeymaren in Frozen 3.

Disney never baited anyone. People were just self projecting on her and wanting to make her into something she might not be. If i was one of the creators and had people telling me what MY CHARACTERS ROMATIC INTEREST should be, i would be pissed!!!!

I say no. This will just ruin everything. Not everyone needs a love interest. Look at Merida from Brave. Elsa is better with no love interest at all except only the love from Anna and her friends, nothing more

The lightear movie was banned in 14 counties including China and middle eastern countries and so on, If Elsa becomes Queer in Frozen 3 then the movie will also be banned in many countries!

While I'm all for a lesbian protagonist in a Disney film, I find it super weird that people obsess about her sexual orientation. It's equally as refreshing to have a strong female lead that doesn't have a love story.

I don’t think it’s fair to make her be lesbian in the third film because some parents don’t let kids watch those types of movies like mine, so it would just be unfair to do that

I hope this doesn't happen. I am categorically against it. From personal convictions (and you should not start a discussion with me about this. I say right away.) And, by the way, what prevents Elsa from adopting someone else's child? It is not necessary that the child be born by her. And anyway: not all princesses have to have children. And not all princesses can have children. In this life everything can happen. I personally think the option with a foster child is quite acceptable.
And if Christoph and Anna have a child (or children), then Elsa can take care of him/her/them. Nephews can be loved just as much as your children.

Now someone can write: “It is somehow cruel to leave Elsa childless. Disney can't do this." I will say right away: the audience of the first part has already matured and knows and understands a lot. Yes, and children need to be told that it is not always possible to give birth to a child. The woman may not be able to do this. Or maybe she just doesn't want it. The reasons are different, but any is possible. And it SHOULD be broadcast. We MUST talk about this with our kids. So that later they grow up adequate and understanding.

Animated shows shouldn't have gay characters, because kids are extremely influential at such a young age. And this is destroying Disney, and reputation of Disney. This is destroying the disney magic kids want to see, if you want to be gay that's fine but you shouldn't make gay kid shows.
