Your videos are amazing ….brilliantly executed. I have only been to Puglia this Christmas, I want to get to a more typical Italian experience and had no clue, till your video popped up on my screen .

Such a comprehensive overview of Tuscany and much needed. Side note, I've seen your content over the years and with the vlog especially, it's gotten really great.

I've toured all of these Tuscan towns you mentioned (and more), and my heart is with Arezzo, a gem that tourists haven't overrun! A group of us rented a 14th century stone house with modern updates for a week on a working vineyard ( Pomero di Pomaio) overlooking the town, so I got to know it well. The historic area is very walkable, not as hilly as some Tuscan towns . There's also a modern side of Arezzo that I didn't see in the other hilltop towns, so you can have the best of both worlds. I returned in May 2024 and it was just as magical. I'd also recommend Rick Steves' favorite Tuscan town, Volterra, an easy drive from Montepulciano and Siena.

Love the opening here Angel! You do a great job articulating to viewers on how amazing Tuscany is and why travelers need to spread out to towns outside of Florence. Overtourism's epicenter is Italy so getting outside of the main cities is so important.

Thanks for the video. Tons of good info that will help us planning our vacation to this area in 2026. We will probably just stay in Florence and take day tours, but who knows.

A buddy of mine and I rented a "House in Tuscany" (La Murata, San Rapalano) back in 1993.
A year later it was a plot on Seinfeld. "There are no houses to rent in Tuscany, don't even try."
I highly recommend it.

Hi there!! My husband & I are to going to Florence/Tuscany next month. We both love to drink wine & its a must for us to do wine tasting in Tuscany. Our plan is to go first in Florence, will stay for 3 days then drive to Tuscany & stay for 3-4 days. My question is do you think it’s better for us just to take the day trip tour to visit Tuscany area & do the wine tasting & stay a bit longer in Florence OR it’s a must that we have to drive in Tuscany & stay there? Hope u can give me advise. thank you!
