Off-White is ridiculously expensive, and that can suck to some people... But there's a reason it costs that much. Virgil Abloh is essentially creating a hybrid between Streetwear and Luxury Fashion, which will overall help the market for Streetwear, and it will help grow the scene far beyond the typical skater brand.

I don't have the money to buy Off-White clothing, but I don't hate it because I can't afford it. I love it because it's blurring the lines between streetwear and luxury fashion. It would make Streetwear the first 'fashion genre' or 'fashion trend' that appeals to both middle class citizens, and the filthy rich.

y'all realise if this label was cheap it will go bankrupt. brand value takes years to build, this is why ralph lauren can sell a $40 polo shirt while selling a shearlingh coat for $2999. it's all brand perception same approach kanye is taking with yeezy.

The reason for virgil success is brand perception and status, he makes stuff for the youth aka(rich kids) and prices it high but not as much as other high end brands, people don't buy it for the quality or price they buy it for the logo on the back so they can brag to people you see rappers do it all the times. And virgil makes great cloths that would sell for like 60 or 150$ but his logo on the back increases it to 400$ or 1400$
