This and the MiniQ both are great DC skimmers for small tanks. I don't understand the mindset that small tank owners only deserve AC pumps. Manufactures need to step their game up. Most people own tanks under 50G. They need to offer more DC products for us small guys.

The bubbles production seems pretty low. Might as well go for Aquamaxx

The skimmer skims good but the pump breaks. The plastic impeller seems to brake easily. Then the replacement pump cost almost as much as the whole skimmer.

This looks like it would be great for Ozone. Small simple and compared to actual ozone reactors it is cheap. Put a bag a carbon in the top and done. Anyone else running something similar?
