A short, fast-paced ride through Bionicle. I wanted to throw out all of the restrictions I had while making 10 Years Ago and put the editing front and center; mixing all the years up and seeing what happens.

Something I find interesting about this song is that it's based on an event which kind of parallels the reawakening of Mata Nui. In short, the lead singer of Motley Crue, Nikki Sixx, was declared dead after a drug overdose, and in a last attempt to save him the paramedics injected a shot of adrenaline into his heart - hence Kickstart My Heart; obviously, it worked. Matoro's sacrafice and the Kanohi Ignika acted as that shot of adrenaline for Mata Nui.

This brings me back to the days where people made awesome Bionicle AMV with songs that weren't part of the official soundtrack, like Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Great vid!!

This was phenomenal. I've simply soaked this up and can't help but watch it several times over. I noticed that the Ignika activating in the core syncs up with line "Kickstart my Heart", with Pohatu kicking the rock being the prior scene. The lyrics seemed to match up with the visuals more than once. The Tahu scene was stunning and put into perspective Bionicle's development. This entire video oozes with talent and passion. Not one second is squandered. Every bit and edit feels intentional. Bravo, my dude. You did a simply wonderful job. This is a legendary video through and through.
