Boston Chinatown is home to many Chinese restaurants, businesses, and stores. I stopped by Hing Shing Pastry just past the Chinatown gate. The Roast Pork bun was fluffy, and very tasty.

I used to get Roast Pork buns on Mott Street in Chinatown NYC. Miss them, I would buy two dozen at a time. Thanks for the tasty memories.

It's always a treat to see a Chinese bakery, and the delicious baked items. 😋 Char siu bao or any savory bao definitely tastes better when warm. At least, you enjoyed it enough to give it a two 👍. It was a nice touch to turn the camera to the Chinatown gate at the end, so kudos to whoever has filming. 😎 Thank you for sharing this review, AK! 🤗

Pork buns are delicious, I love how they make the buns fluffy. And there is plenty of pork what a nice treat to enjoy on the move.

When you said how good it smelled inside it reminded me how good Italian bakeries smelled when I was a kid. The pork bun looked good, nicely filled. I'm sure warmed up it would have been even better.

Nice you got a video of Hing Shing before they closed. The best pork bun in Boston Chinatown is a pineapple bun with pork at Great Taste bakery right next to where you recorded. There is a similar pineapple pork bun that is super popular in nyc chinatown and Boston has it too. You have to go there earlier in the day to usually secure a pineapple pork bun, they sell out regularly. There is no actual pineapple in it, its name comes from the look of the bun from the added texture ontop.

I've been to that bakery and had one of the walnut cookies. Very good.

It would have been much better if it wasn't cold! LOL.

Not so sure as the bun looked so much larger than the filling, , although it looked fresh and fluffy.
