Enya Nova Go SP1 Acoustic/Electric - Guitar Review

This is my review of the Enya Nova Go SP1 acoustic electric guitar. It's lightweight, durable and travel friendly with some cool features. It's made of carbon fiber so it's pretty resistant to extreme temperatures and humidity. Great for beginner guitar players, kids, outdoor playing and travelling.

It has a built in speaker and pre-amp so you can plug in or play using the speaker and effects built right into the guitar!

I forgot about it after a weekend trip and it sat in my van for a week in 100 degree temps. When I remembered it was out in the van, I went outside, got it and brought it inside. It was still in tune and nothing was wrong with it at all.

Only thing I don't like is the 3/4 neck...but it's great for travel! Boats, campers it just doesn't matter.

This is a great guitar for all of the reasons that you, and your viewers, have stated. What makes this an exceptional guitar choice, for me, is that I have an injury that has taken the majority of function in my right arm. My left thumb has also been amputated. I’m a mess but with this guitar you’d never know it.

A year ago I was gifted a dreadnaught-style-guitar. I love it. However, the thin body helps me keep my right arm in the proper position for strumming and picking.

The size and shape of the neck make this a perfect choice due to my missing thumb.

I haven’t bought a pedal (yet) but I have bought a couple of headphone amps. Fender’s Mustang Micro is not compatible with this guitar. There are others that work very well.

I appreciate your review. I suspect that I’m not the only injured enthusiast. This guitar has improved my quality of life because it helps me express myself. Music is life.

It would make, like you said a Great, campfire guitar. The initial attack on the strings has that hollow toy guitar sound. All though when strumming a rythum it does seem to mask that. But if your outdoors entertaining friends. Who cares, it would be perfect for that kind of venue...

Thanks for the review Robbie...really good review! I have a young granddaughter that has some musical interest so I am interested in your thoughts. Would you recommend this guitar for a 5 year old as their first guitar. I assume it uses acoustic guitar strings??
