What a great video and copper is naturally antibacterial. However it will turn your skin green unless it is sealed with something.

For those unaware of the reason the copper wire was heated in the beginning, is because it was annealed/softened. Immediately after the wire is heated to a cherry red, it is quenched in cold water. Then you can straighten it out and use steel wool, or chemicals to clean of the oxidation.

I used to make them out of stainless steel TIG welding wire in work same principle and they come out like silver bracelets

He doesn't need to talk... You can clearly see what he's doing....you heat the copper wire because it softens it... Makes it easier to manipulate
