I live in Europe, so everything is working fine here. I personally think TikTok should keep the site shut down for the US people until the ban is lifted completely, and not play along with this attempt at hostile takeover. Nothing good comes from a few billionaires owning all media platforms.

Whether you like the app or not... TikTok never should've been banned in the first place. The First Amendment took a big hit today. The masses really held out till the last minute to support TikTok, in hopes that our government wasn't actually going to fail us... Why do you think the senators who pushed for this ban recently invested hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money into Meta, particularly...??? They created a scenario, aka fear mongering, because they know they really can't let us have true free speech uncontrolled by them. So they're shifting users to "American owned Apps" where they can control the content. And they might as well make a few million in the process... right?! The US government is literally doing, what they say they're afraid China is doing to us.
