I made 550-650whp on a J35 bone stock with just a little ring gap added to factory rings and streeted it 20k miles around Florida for 2 years. With good tuning the 3.5 is a tank. Mine was straight out of an Odyssey

For anyone thinking of wasting their money on a lightweight flywheel for their naturally aspirated car.

LW Flywheels are mainly beneficial for boosted applications, for spooling up the turbo slightly quicker/eliminating some turbo lag..

It does add slightly to your acceleration regardless as it takes unsprung weight directly from crank.. But the effects are minimal on NA platforms

Great run man. People underestimate those 8th & 9th gen SIs lol. I’ve had both with FBO & tune and I definitely surprised quite a few people. Love the sound and torque of the J much more though.

Congrats on your wheel purchase! Hopefully you dug just as deep with your research for a proper selection of tires. Good tires alone will improve the car agility, and pulls getting all of your wheel power to the ground is vital. I know you're going to do an exhaust eventually you'll loose weight their as well. I don't have the air bag issue you do.

Fyi not sure what engine oil your using but I've found Royal Purple Synthetic has always been super good on performance (check for yourself).

Also for a little fun try BOOSTANE in a tank of your gas!

Ever notice how the 4rth gen Acura TL sounds like a bee? I love that sound! Last car I had sounded like a bear growling. I prefer the bee sound. Reason why I’d be apprehensive about changing much. Only mod I have on my automatic is a drop in K&N drop in filter. Which modified the sound making it even better. Thinking of naming my car the White Hornet. 😜
