So I keep hearing a lot of complaint about ME1's combat. Maybe I just unerringly got the perfect set up, but my vanguard had a pistol that was sniper accurate, never overheated and could be temporarily buffed to shoot at 2x speed. Then there's the shotgun with its explosion round. Both of these would just annihilate enemies. The combat was super fun for me. So yeah I don't understand all the complaints about ME1 combat.

You could do things like detonate grenades mid-air, ME1's combat was a breeze. I don't get where this idea keeps coming from.

I am so happy the random monetisation is being looked at. I really hate randomisers in games and it is especially distasteful when it comes to your money. If anyone implemented 2 options in 1 game - an up-front cheaper random and up-front more expensive normal purchase - no one will play random. That is why no developer gives both options in the same game.

I am very tempted by the mass effect trilogy. I tried the first one when it first came out but the combat was just awful. Hopefully all these tweaks will make it more fun to play. Great video, as always, henry.

Oh, and as for loot boxes? Throw them off a cliff and set them on fire. They need to be destroyed with extreme prejudice!!!!
