While this is great for making GeForce now accessible it doesn’t really address the issue many of us have had with the service in the past. What we really need is a native Linux client so we can get 4k/HDR and higher frame rates.

If you try docking your deck the best resolution you can get is 1080p through chrome (at least it was the last time I tried).

Hopefully they opt to provide 90hz and HDR support for Steam Deck at some point

For anyone having resolution issues while in the geforce now app, be sure to change the resolution in properties before opening the app. 1280x720 should be good, but give others ago and see what best suits your needs.

The script adds the images itself...weird it didn't for you

Also on Bazzite OS you need to edit the script "bin/GeForceNOW_Setup_Helper" line 162 and remove the end part "and 'valve' in platform.release().lower()".

You'll likely also want to change the resolution and scale to fit your needs in the "bin/NVIDIA GeForce NOW" file on line 65. The "--window-size=1024, 640 --device-scale-factor=1.25" part

I tested this last night. The install went easy enough (I had to add the artwork as well manually). After logging into GFN, I can move the mouse and use the D pad, but the right trigger doesnt work as a regular mouse click and I have to use the touch screen to select something. Is there anything I need to set as far as controls to make the GFN menus work? Once I started Fortnite through GFN, it detected all the Steam controls no problem and everything worked in game at least. If it's only the GFN menu that I have use touchscreen, thats really no big deal.

Great vid, I have everything downloaded, I have an account and I paid for priority. But yet I’ve been trying to login for 3 hours and it keeps saying login failed. I feel like I just got dooped out of my money.

Dude when im in the “get in game on” screen and it says get in i press get in scan the qr code log in with my phone and it says login failed on the deck but it says successfully logged in on my phone, could you help?

I'd love to test any game streaming service, but none of them are available in my country. Not GeForce Now, not Luna, not Stadia when it still was active, and not even one of the smaller players like Shadow. All I have is my own computer through Steam Link, whenever it wants to work through the open Internet
