A Winter Day in the Life - Off grid in remote Alaska

This is our typical day in the life during our winter season. The pace is a lot slower with the given sunlight hours and can vary based on the temperatures outside. Today it was very cold so we spent the majority of our time inside.

Daily chores consist of firewood, laundry, dishes, and making sure the dog gets to run around with us. There is always a long list of bigger projects that we do our best to work on in addition to the daily life chores. Our house may be messy and unfinished, but our home is happy and that is most important.

Looks like Rowan is days away from walking. He is such a happy and communicative little child. Amazing how warm your house stays. Seeing Laurie in shorts and bare feet says it all, and Cody is Mr. Sasquatch out and about in a t-shirt.
