That offset turning proves that Paul Brodie is a confirmed eccentric🥰

Only problem mounting bracket to chain adjuster is front mount will need to be slotted or it will try and stretch chainguard (yep, been there 😉)

You did a great job on the design and fab of that bracket. Learned something new with the off-set turning.

I really appreciate this approach to design and fabrication. I like to think I can create art someday...or anything for that matter. But I mostly lack internal visualization and so working with the tangible parts and pieces helps me to see how something might look after I put it together. Thanks for sharing your creative process, Paul--and Mitch☕☕

This is great....designing on the fly with a kinda of plan in my head. I have no doubt you'll pull this off.

Now is the time to drill recesses for those two (6mm ?) Allen screwheads so that they flush-mount... which will also add about 6.5mm of lightness! 🙂

I like how you never use an angle grinder and just freehand some ugly shapes out of everything. I know that kind of fabrication has its place but seeing you machine stuff is a lot more stimulating, especially with all the puzzles involved.

Now the chain guards mount will move with the chain adjuster, you'll have to account for adding a slotted hole to either the front or rear of the guard.
