So many key changes, speed changes, timing changes...and never a missed note. Most amazing technically perfect band ever.

I’m 21 and the fact that I’ll never get to see the three of these guys play live absolutely breaks my heart

Geddy, Neil and Alex did more in this 11 and a half minutes than most bands can achieve in an entire gig, , , , phenomenal!!

There's times in this video that all three almost look like child-like, three best friends out having a great time together, and it's just so beautiful to watch. Pure art.

In a way, Neil was the Spirit of Rush. When people think of Rush, they usually default to the complex, inspired, incredible and precise drumming of Neil — as astoundingly great as Alex and Geddy are, Neil was on another level.

The Spirit of Radio was dedicated to Toronto station CFNY. Although CFNY didn't really play much Rush (station was focused mostly on new wave), the band appreciated all music and the station's contribution to the scene. That's how gracious the band was.

RIP, Mr. Neil Peart.

As a drummer, I can’t put into words the amount of respect and appreciation I have for Neil. I have been a big fan of Rush for a couple of years now and I can’t begin to describe how badly it hurts to know that I will never get a chance to see Neil’s expertise in person. Neil is truly one of a kind and it’s not hard to see. As much as I would like to see another drummer like Neil come along, I just don’t see it happening...and you know, that’s not necessarily a bad thing :) Rest In Peace Neil and thank you for the abundance of inspiration you’ve given me. It means more than you’ll know!

This is one of the best things I've ever heard! Most people my age don't even know what real music is! I'm 14 btw

The intro is a medley of their early memorable tunes. I'm from that generation and caught most of them, but not all. Anyone able to riffle a list?

RIP Neil Peart. September 12, 1952 - January 7, 2020 (Age 67). He is and always will be the best drummer in the world. Nobody can't even come close to matching his style. The king of the drumming world. I grew up spending countless hours listening to Rush songs on MTV and Stereo Panama radio station from 1984- 1991. He wrote most of Rush song lyrics by adding a unique mix of ancient philosophy, comic books action sequences and strong messages that shaped my teenage years. Unique mix of Progressive Rock & Sci-Fi Rock ! Great nostalgia. Neil Peart you will remain forever closer to the heart of all Rush fans worldwide ! You are now one with the spirit of radio !

Rush is so bad ass! I didnt get into them until around 92' but I've seen them several times live and they are so amazing live. Better live than recorded.

There is a artistic precision to these three that is just not repeatable. They are simply, "that good." I can never tire of hearing them. Their work just moves my spirit. It has been my pleasure to be their fan.

Growing up in Canada, Rush was always the band that everyone went to for the end of great discussions on Canadian music. Rush was our own musical "Trinity". RIP Neil Peart. Hope heaven is ready for him taking over the drum spot there.

To do this and not miss a beat is just ungodly. Three people this in tune with each other will never be seen again in our lifetime.
