In today's video, Justin takes you though the journey of supercharging and dyno testing our '24 Mustang GT with the new VMP Gen 6 3.0 L Supercharger kit! We started with the installation of this kit, which our techs Jeremy and Luke, knocked out without issue.

Once the car was running and the Whipple break-in procedure was complete, it was time to tell the world. We chose to do so via our annual Open House event. This allowed us the opportunity to unveil it with Chuck from Whipple in attendance as well as throw the car up on the dyno for results with a live audience!

The car laid down two solid pulls of 807 rwhp and 810 rwhp back to back!

Stay tuned for more videos, such as a track outing with our '24 and the new VMP Gen 6 3.0 L kit coming soon! Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for frequent updates as well!

Hopefully those numbers translate to the track. They didn't seem to for lethal performance

Should have a boostane logo on the lid, not VMP.

Nothing wrong with showing what the car makes, but you need to disclose OCTANE BOOSTER.

People are going to try this with Costco 93 and quickly blow their motors.

Small print: SAE Dyno at the crank with octane booster in the not recommended 7th gear

I think a lot of the appeal of vmp was it was tvs vs ts sort of thing. Having that rivalry of camps. Now that’s gone. I personally bought a gen 3 r for my 03 cobra from them. But when I asked to trade the kit TB for their larger one and pay whatever the price difference was, customer support failed and wouldn’t budge. They told me to sell it then buy their larger one. I was going to modify the inlet to fit their largest TB to fit on the 03 cobra kit and see how much power it would hit max effort (still in the works) and they didn’t seem to care at all lol. After that, sort of killed it for me on them. It’s also impossible to talk to Justin even after spending 6-7k with them. I was a big fan till I dealt with them. Great product but need better customer support people. I dealt with multiple and it was the same. If I had a 24, personally would just go directly with Whipple and skip the middle man unless maybe I lived near their shop and could actually talk to someone like Justin who cared face to face.

Oh, the content from them saying 93 octane is going to be wild. It's been 9s already.

Incredible love from Australia. This kit is being released in Australia later in the year via Herrod Performance.

I think what we have here is a partnership with a well renowned screw blower tuner and a manufacturer looking for someone to fine tune and extract every possible bit of power out of this set up. As they hinted, once things open up on the tuning, I would bet that Vmp will have a very good handle on things already.

I bet there’s some octane booster in there lol

Sucks that Whipple has a monopoly on Superchargers now on the Mustang. Another reason I won't "upgrade" to the S650. I'm really happy with my S550 and the differences are not enough to justify getting in debt for $50k. Also sad to see VMP bow down to Whipple, I would have thought of all companies VMP would of broken the ECU lock on the Mustang and had their own Loki/Odin for the S650. Honestly, the ONLY way I would have upgraded would have been if Ford had put AWD on this beast. It's just not worth it when you can get an S550 and do the exact same upgrades both suspension, Supercharger (but with more options) and transmission for much less.

This is exactly what I want for my 17 GT.. But I want OIL pump gears and sprocket done too. New twin disk Clutch/Braided clutch line to help handle the power. I need to keep the stock headers and cats to pass inspection.. I don't want any E85 either... I want my car to last forever so I won't be chasing numbers at all..

Isn't this just a Whipple kit with a VMP logo? Not your kit, but a lid with your logo? Would love to see the track numbers to see if they add up.

Long time customer, I've bought packages for 3 of my GT500s and 2 GTs over the years. I've heard you say you added boostane to the new whipple kits, also mentioned by PBD. It's this necessary to stay safe? And if so, is there a kit that would not require this? Also, how long should we expect stock cats to survive, or should those be upgraded also?

Why hasn't anyone at VMP explained why someone would buy a Whipple with a VMP logo on it? I assume it's more money than say buying a non-VMP logo Whipple at DNA Performance, Lethal, etc.? What am I getting from VMP more than buying it someplace else?

What is your install fee and does it retain warranty like when purchased thru Whipple?
