Honing my Paper Cutter with Aluminum Foil

After cutting a million pieces of matt board for our school art show, my blade was feeling dull and uneven. Cutting through thick pieces of aluminum foil is a great way to hone a dull blade and remove any inconsistencies with the blade. This helps extend the lifespan of the blade in between sharpening it.
