As someone who completely unable to sleep wen i don’t trust someone i’m next to and a hopeless romantic whose favourite romance trope is ennemies to lovers, i really hope this will happen to me one day.

So funny story. This is how my boyfriend knew we would end up together 😅.

I read somewhere on Reddit that it's a red flag for someone to fall asleep on a date... But he knew I had massive sleep problems (chronic insomnia).

It was our first time meeting and our first date. He never saw Arcane so we watched it together because I have Netflix. We cuddled after episode 3 because it's a heavy one. And I started to slip.
I fell asleep in the arms of a "stranger".
He thought it was cute because he knew my problems and now: that I felt so safe with him I could sleep.

We have been together for 7 months now and let me tell you.... Sleep is a beautiful thing as well as my boyfriend is so so great.

Bro, this happened to me. There is this one guy in my class that i guess we are academic rivals cause we always brag to each other if we had higher scores and sometimes studied together (only for important exams) one day my school decided to take us for a field trip. It was a 5 hour drive to Disneyland, i didn't really have close friends but he was super popular. He didn't feel comfortable sleeping near anyone because he had Insomnia and nightmares of past trauma (ik because he vented to me one time when we were studying together) we had to sit next to someone on the bus. We got to choose buddies. He chose me (tp this day i still don't know why) when we got on the bus it was a cold trip i he was wearing a big warm coat and i was wearing just a shirt. I started to get goosebumps and he noticed but didn't do anything at first. Until he started falling asleep (most people can't fall asleep without hugging something that I know) he ended up hugging me and covering me with his coat while hugging me in his sleep
