SJ presented his group journey to the pinnacle of Indian Steel Industry within a span of 3 decades starting from a mini steel plant, a feat very few could perform ( Another example is Lakshmi Mittal ) .The presentation has been done in a very forthright, matter of fact manner. Mr. Jindal is neither overly modest nor an opiniated and pompous industrialist . He is justifiably proud of the accomplishments of his group. If there is issue to be resolved, it must be done asap without blowing it out of proportion . Leaning from mistakes and perform better and out of box thinking have always been a part of the JSW group DNA .
I treasure the few years in 90s that I spent at JISCO( now JSW) under his leadership and learnt about cost management, which was not so well known to Engineers at that time
