Luvdisc. Not for any reason like “love is stupid” I’m not hateful about that. It exists to make what should be an easily accessed and simple game mechanic far more complicated and annoying than it needs to be: Move Relearning, which requires heart scales. An item that only luvdisc can hold, SOME OF THE TIME, which can almost never be found by doing anything but fishing, an already extremely slow mechanic at the best of times. pichu, it's 1000% less cute than pikachu, pikachu is basically treated as a first stage unless it's convenient to mention pichu, its beta design was better (get the hamtaro ozempic effect tf out of here), and i don't care if raichu already being a stone evo disqualifies it from evolving again, i WANT GOROCHU.
also the last pokemon ranger game ever made threw away the awesome partner choice mechanic for a pichu playing the ukulele, and then the series died. coincidence? no. pichu's in house knockoff ahh murdered pokemon ranger and we're just all collectively letting it get away with that?? where's the justice.
