Military deployed to demolish Mombasa sinking building

Mombasa County Government has ordered an emergency evacuation of residents and patients within a 1.2-kilometre radius of an unsafe nine-storey building scheduled for demolition on Wednesday. The operation is aimed at averting a potential disaster. The building, located on Abdel Nasser Road, has been declared structurally unsound following a multi-agency assessment that revealed severe foundational and structural damage caused by unauthorized borehole drilling that resulted in caving in of two floors. And as Timothy Kipnusu reports ,Governor Abdulswamad Sharrif Nassir, revealed that the county was compelled to act swiftly to protect lives.

What precaution for health and safety have they taken
In evacuation where will they take people. Do they think everyone is able to relocate somewhere or have families somewhere? What impact will it have on other houses? Have they thought for the worse? Will they pay other houses if affected?
Just putting fears on people's lives doesn't help

Using the military to demolish a house, are you guys serious and there are professional demolition companies here in Kenya for this job. Mombasa county you are a joke, making a big fuss out of a small issue like if this is the first case of fallen building. By exploding the building you are risking nearby buildings, and lives. Think bwana.
