Custom Knife Making: The Drop Point Hunting Knife

Thank you for joining me on my channel. Today, we will be making a Drop Point Hunting knife, with an added glass breaker tip. I made this knife using 5mm Bohler N690 steel for the blade, 3mm Stainless Steel pins, Tambotie wood paired with black G10 liners for the handle scales. For the beveling and rounding of the pins, i chuck the pins into a small cordless drill and use that to spin the pins opposite the direction of the belt. A bit faster and sometimes you end up with a cleaner and more even rounding. Also, it eliminates the belt rash when ya get too close 😅😅😂😂

One of the best looking drop point hunters I've ever seen. It's shaped almost identically to the one I have and it's my favorite hunting knife yet. Of course yours is quite a bit better made. I'd some day like to have me a custom one like this built for me. Excellent work sir.
