This game is 100% just as precious as the trailer makes it out to be and like a literal antidepressant. Honestly, this is my personal indie of the year, everything about it is like a big warm hug in a video game. BUY IT ❤️

As someone who has played through this game completely, and found every secret because I'm just one of those guys, I can safely say that this game is fantastic. Cheerful appearance with incredibly dark undertones, lovable characters, a fantastic soundtrack, and a compelling story.

If you have the chance, buy this game. It's short, but darn it, it's good, wholesome fun to really pick up your spirits. If you ever feel sad, open the game, and just sing the sadness away.

Just beat this yesterday, and it cuts surprisingly deep. The bard isn't perfect by any means, but he's who I aspire to be in life. Someone who can look the horrors of the world straight-on and still be contagiously optimistic.

It's interesting. The undertones of the game and narrative are quite pessimistic.

So negative and heartbreaking.
Yet you, the bard, bring an optimistic and heartwarming perspective.

The music, visuals, and story all seem very endearing. Getting this for sure ♥️

This game looks amazing. It grabbed my heart the second I saw the trailer. Just the music, the story, and that part where they had everyone singing together as the sun was being black out.
Just, TOOK my heart.

I finished playing this yesterday. It's really fun, and wholesome. The game doesn't really repeat puzzles as much, and they give you new concepts and ideas to mull over in gameplay mechanics and in world building. The maps are very interesting, and the dialogue is ON point. The way that this game develops and makes you care about the characters by conveying their hopes, aspirations, and fears is just... amazing. I love it so much, and by the end, I was bawling my eyes out (other specific moments made me cry too...). Although some parts are down, and quite frankly, dark (which makes sense due to what exactly was happining in the story at the time, ) the Bard (which I named them Elin in my playthrough) and other characters (depends on whom) always tried to put a hopeful spin on things and have hope towards the future (it does depend on what circumstance tho). This game was mostly a bubbly, happy game with very funny parts and serious parts at the same time. I highly sugguest playing this game. (And if you do, try to get all of the dialouge-- especially with Miriam. It enhances the whole experience and makes you feel more for this world and the characters in it. ;) )
