And here you thought some of these were only for inspirational posters. They are actually scientific words! Strangely enough, so were idiot and imbecile...Science has a very strange history to be honest. Back to our new terminology, these words describe how much energy materials can take before breaking. This is important, especially when we talk about things like bullet proof glass or armor or various protective materials.
