I went through stage 3 Cancer where my kidney, lung and pancreas had a spot. My pancreas had minor atrophy. Now after chemo and radiation I’m hoping that the spots don’t come back. My colon cancer is also gone. Blessings to everyone.

Yes your first signs of pancreatic disease is really accurate.
I was having trouble digesting food and often goes to the toilet after eating. I was confused as to how could my food digested so quickly. As the months passed, I started to lose weight. I am a diabetic, I thought it was the medicine which had side effects as I was introduced to a new tablet. When I told my diabetes doctor of my often going to the toilet, she wrote a letter for me to do a CT scan in the hospital. After the scan it was found that I had a tumour growth in my pancreas. I was even starting to turn yellow which was jaudice setting in as the tumour had blocked the bile duct. Finally the surgeon set an earlier date for my surgery as it seem the juandice is getting worst. Finally I had a wimple surgery to remove my gall bladder and a sten was placed into my bile duct to prevent me from getting jaudice. Next I had about 58 cm of the small intestines removed as it was damaged by the tumour. He had to cut many damged blood vessels and joined back. Finally it was found to be a hardened tumour and he had it removed and send for biopsy, later it was found to be cancerous. As such I had to go through chemotherapy for 6 sessions. Then in between going for monthly checkups. Thanks to God that due to the hardened tumour I am alive till this day. so please, anyone who is reading this . Do not over look any symtoms or changes in your body. God bless everyone.

Two of my good friends were diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and were dead within a few months. The younger man complained about lower back problems for years and believed it was work related. For both it was a painful death and I believe they were thankful when the end came.

Related to my illness, I went into the hospital in my hometown on a Thursday evening through the ER. Laid in a bed for SIX days getting little more than IV and antibiotics. NEVER.... I repeat....NEVER once did I receive a visit from a doctor. After much begging, I got them to release me ( they would not transfer me). I went to a hospital 75 miles away in a big city, went to the ER, was diagnosed with necrotizing pancreatitis, and immediately was admitted to the ICU. Over the next week I was seen by no fewer than FIVE doctors EACH DAY.

Never let yourself be admitted to a hospital without determining that they have the skills and staff to handle your issue. To do otherwise is to invite potential DEATH!

Please, anyone with pancreas problems read this. I’ve read studies due to my chronic pancreatitis and have found that taking 8000mg of good cod liver oil a day stops visits to hospital. I was in hospital on average three time a year with bad flare ups until I started taking the oil. I have had only one visit in three years since so please, it must be doing something good and costs pennies!

2 years ago, I experienced a bout of necrotizing pancreatitis as a result of taking a medication to treat my Type II Diabetes. I was given a 30% chance of survival. After 12 weeks that included 3 weeks of feeding by tube, 7 endoscopic procedures to remove necrotic tissue, losing over 80% of my pancreas, and losing 25% of my body weight, I am happy to announce that I am now living a healthy and energetic lifestyle. I do not eat red meat, processed pork, fried foods, or high-fat dairy products ( including ZERO butter). I manage my portions, drink a protein drink every morning and eat light in the evenings. I am blessed to be the picture of health (except of course for the insulin injections and the "missing" 80% of my pancreas). I take no enzymes and have ZERO intestinal or digestive issues since my illness. I thank my expert physicians at St Thomas West in Nashville and the great blessings and mercy of a forgiving and awesome GOD!

I had my first and only gallstone attack in 2020 that resulted in pancreatitis and it felt like a slow onset chest pain that came on over about half an hour, like a slowly tightening band around my chest and abdomen. It resulted in the removal of my gall bladder a few days later with no complications so far. I'm fortunate that my solution was pretty straightforward and simple

I have pancreatitis, but it is self-diagnosed. I saw what doctors offer and didn't want it. I eat with a view to anti-inflamatory foods. Eat no brominated flour. Almost all US bread is made with brominated flour. This is outlawed in many countries. Bad oils or anything even slightly rancid brings on an attack. Grapefruit juice helps pain.

I experienced a very sudden onset of pancreatitis just before the holidays in December. I was fine leading up to the event, but within an hour or two I was experiencing rather violent episodes of vomiting followed by dry heaves. Within 12 hours of the first onset of these symptoms, I went to the emergency room at my local hospital. They did a CT scan, x-ray and blood tests - after 3 hours they concluded with the pancreatitis diagnosis and admitted me to the hospital. Fortunately, there are no signs of cancer but they could not definitively identify what triggered my episode. My triglycerides were very high and my enzymes were off-the-charts. I do not consume alcohol either. An aggressive re-hydration regimen and BRAT diet got me back on track, although it took a few weeks to regain my stamina after the 4-day hospital stint. I lost ten pounds and seem to have stabilized at that lower weight. My appetite is normal and the dietician recommended 4-6 light meals per day and to avoid all deep-fried foods and high carbs (basically, a healthy balanced diet). We are what we eat!

Jedus Christ, or whomever one chooses to believe in proves He exist every minute of the hour, every hour of every day. I am so happy for your
recovery. I was a healthcare worker and besides caring and assisting the patients, I prayed for and with those who believed daily. All love and praises!
