It's surprisingly a simple registry fix. Thank you so much. You save a lot of my time waiting just to load a picture with the new Photos app... why do they even make a solution to something that has never been a problem. Now the solution becomes the problem. Microsoft please do better -_-

works for me. Sep 21, 2020. I really hate this Win10's default photo browser. Every second picture was unable to load (i had a blank screen). Besides when it worked, it took centuries to load the picture. Also, everytime simple 'closing the app' action took another couple of seconds. Now I have so much free time saved I don't even how to spend it. I think I'll switch back just to fill the emptiness.
