A performance California 'everyday utility' board, the Channel Islands #4 was the fourth board in a series of numbered experimental concept boards built for Dane Reynolds just before the 2012 US open. Each of these boards incorporated a blend of single to double concave with vee, 13" nose and 15" tail with a double bump. After a few months of fine tuning and refinement, the team arrived at a design that can be ridden in two different dimension sets to cover whatever the type of waves and conditions you normally surf in.

Dane himself rides a 5ft 8 x 19.5 x 2.437 as a small wave groveler and a 5ft 9 x 19 x 2.375 as a utility board.
