Considering that Shingo relies solely on raw force to replicate Kyo's moves, it shows how badass he actually is.
In fact, the Kusanagi Clan's martial art were created with pyrokinesis powers in mind, Shingo is the only one who has managed to use this martial art without using any flames.

I love how King of Fighters 15 adds little details to his moves. The DP when he loses balance after landing or his triple kicks where he fails to land the last one compare to his does land the last one but falls over. Shingo is still raw but he's starting to click. His fire albeit small is there. Kyo Kusanagi should be proud of Shingo Yabuki.

New ability to shoot flames aside, he actually gets clumsier with each game lol
Note how he used to fully land the triple flying kick before falling over but in later games he crashes into the opponent instead

Nice little comparison. But I'd like to say there are more references if you included other old versions in the video instead of making it just game A vs game B. That idea doesn't seem good for games like SF and KOF.
