Give it a Try 😊

Select the right valve for your application. (Globe valve is less prone to cavitation as compared to Butterfly valve) . In water and liquid systems with high pressure drop, use an anti-cavitation valve. Use multiple control valves or multistage control valves so that the pressure drop happens gradually rather than all at once. This is called pressure drop staging.

What’s the impact of flashing in the valve ? Any guidelines for flashing

In order to eliminate cavitation in control valves, couldn't we reduce the pressure drop by introduce properly sized restriction orifice at valve inlet or outlet?

Great job Asad.
But I have one query.
For ‘Elevate the pressure solution’ Why would the Inlet Pressure near the pump be 110 psig and away from the Pump inlet be 100 psig? Should it not be uniform across the pipe?
