Saw this film about 50 years ago with Richard Carlson...Sad but held my interest again.

Lovely film.
Nothing over done, and a simple enough idea/plot. It charmed, all the way through.
Thank you for sharing.

Never mind the story. It's beautiful lighting, music and the ladies were beautifully slim.

1:42 She's like a female version of John Newland in OSB 😊 The movie was scary enough for me. Scarier part was getting lost and separated in the maze cause that's something that could actually happen in real life 😱 At 13:21 though, nah, seriously? 😄
Thx for sharing.

Is there a reason for not showing the opening credits at the beginning of the movie and then cutting off the ending?? Half the fun of watching an old movie is seeing who starred in it, directed it, etc.. It's like arriving at the movie theater late. It doesn't make any sense. Also, at the end of the movie, when the servants were ordered to carry frogman back into the house, he should have said "we're having frog legs for dinner"!

I had seen this good horror film before, but still enjoyed it knowing what it was about. I like Richard Carlson in all of the movies he was in. I suppose his aging was due to stress? And I think that Vincent Price could have been great in the role of Gerald: old castles, foggy nights, creepy things in the night, dark secrets, psychotic main character....yep...tailor made for Vincent Price...!!

Well, I was terrified of the “slinking” monster until I got to see it. Sorry but I had to laugh.

These black and white mysteries are so well done, compared to the contemporary ones...better written, tighter direction, plots and acting....was a bit disappointed by the
silly frog thing at the end but up to that point it was absolutely thrilling

She is a conniving one.
For a movie called The Maze, the maze is hardly shown at all in the entire movie.

Production designers should go visit some Scottish castles as most of the Holywood ones look little like the real thing !
