I strung together 24 HPL lamps using a parallel circuit. the 12v input is reduced using the Lm2596 board to 9v. The Lm2596 board emits a lot of heat and noise in just 2-3 minutes then the voltage fluctuates from 9 to 5 volts.
what should I do to keep the voltage at 9v? or the hpl light load is too big for that board? Or should I just replace it with a 9v 5ampere power supply?

I hope to get answers here, thank you!🫡
