SPYRO'S FIRST MAP - Artisans Arena Gameplay (Crash Team Rumble)

Spyro the Dragon's first Map has launched in Crash Team Rumble; Artisans Arena! Let's check out what the map has to offer, along with all the relic stations, including Gulp from Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage / Gateway to glimmer!

This map is so sick. I kinda want a Spyro Team Rumble now. You can have Hunter, Sheila, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, Agent 9, the Sorceress, Bianca and Gnasty Gnorc as new characters alongside Spyro, Ripto & Elora. There's so many possibilities for maps and epic relic stations too. I'd rather have Spyro 4 but I'll take whatever new Spyro content I can get lol

Oooh Town Square music. Also, seeing Spyro all silver reminds me of the Invincibility power-up in A Hero's Tail.

This map has a lot of references to the Spyro franchise, changing wumpas to gems was a genius idea, the many statues of dragons look great and the music and ambience sure feel like spyro.
Also, this map is one of few in the game to have a perfect stat scheme. The gem boosts add up to 100 percent, and there are 3 relic stations, a 5 cost one, a 6/8 cost one, and the 30 cost epic one.
My problem with this map is mainly Gulp. He was introduced in spyro 2, and he never visited the dragon realms. He looks weird in this area in my opinion. They could have brought up Gnasty Gnorc, for exemple.


Also, it looks like a dick.

I love the map but does anyone think it's a little strange that Ice Wizards, Gulp and posters of Ripto are up in the Artisans map? Maybe for Summer Forest it would make sense, I feel like this map should have leaned more into the Spyro 1 aesthetic, since we know we're getting that 2nd map anyway. ( +We should get Midnight Mountain to represent the 3rd game)

The level design looks cool. Very vertical.

Liked the gem switch, as in Racing, liked the idea of fairys giving the power ups, like the original spyro, and liked Gulp as a Epic relic station, as It feels like the boss fight with those canons shooting onto the Air.

Lovely way to mix both Crash and Spyro on a propera way ❤

Since you just know that Gulp would be the boss of this map should it be part of the next party mode addition, I already came up with an idea! It would be called something like "Monster Mayhem". Imagine, enemies everywhere. Your team would need to KO as many as possible so that their essence can charge up power-up gates much like in Spyro 2 with the first team to activate said power-ups becoming highly dangerous to the competition. Being KO'd removes you from the match permanently or if that sounds too unfun, the team with the largest number of KOs by the end of the timer wins. These power-ups would also be your only means of dealing damage to Gulp who's rampaging around the arena. Whichever team KOs him first is the victor. All the while, his boss battle theme plays. What do you guys think?
