Our first Basset (Homer, 1989) was Dean's tri-color twin. When our daughter (now 35) was in 1st grade and had to write about her pet, she wrote that she had a "Sleep Dog". The teacher kindly corrected her and said "Sweetie, that's 'Sheep' Dog" and showed her a picture of an English Sheep Dog. Our daughter went to her backpack that had a keychain with Homer's picture to show the teacher and corrected her... "No, he's a SLEEP dog!" Long succession of sons and new sisters since... colors and sexes have change, but they are all still "Sleep Dogs".

Dean Dean the basset Hound., You make relaxing look like fun. Trust me it is.
Oliver my basset, who is 12 years old now is still a puppy. We enjoy quiet time together popcorn and pizza and napping. We both laughed with your latest video, and I agree with him you make it look easy. From the both of us Dean thanks for the laughs. Best wishes from us to you and your family.
