Peterson's interview was pathetic. The guy is a total wimp. Nobody has any guts today. I am 52 years old and I have a son. Actually I am old enough to be Lawrence's father. I can tell you this. If someone deliberately tried to hurt my son like that and put him at risk of having brain damage or being paralyzed, and I had to watch this guy get up there and apologize for the other team and not stand up for my son, I would be done with the guy. He is more worried about not offending the coach than he is about his player potentially being seriously injured.

How can any player want to play for someone like this? He clearly does not give a damn about his players. I am expect a coach to stand up and fight for his players. Any leader is supposed to do that, right? Well, this guy is anything but a leader. He should have been outraged and stood up for his guy.

Calling it "unfortunate" is a joke. There was a fight earlier. The guy was pissed. He deliberately cheap shotted Lawrence in retaliation. That is not bad fortune or unfortunate. It is the opposite. It was a deliberate attempt to hurt someone and possibly injury him in the worst way possible.

This interview is total joke. I would fire Peterson asap. Fans all around the league should call for Peterson to be fired after this interview. That is how bad it was.
