5 Tricks to Make Your Drawings Look 3D

Показать описание
To make your drawing look 3D, use these five techniques: Diminution, Convergence, Foreshortening, Overlap, and Atmosphere.

To create the illusion of depth on a flat surface, you can use five techniques: Diminution (objects get smaller as they move away), Convergence (parallel lines meet at vanishing points), Foreshortening (objects appear shorter when one end is closer), Overlap (closer objects hide those behind them), and Atmosphere (distant objects fade due to air or haze). By applying these methods individually or in combination, you'll enhance the three-dimensionality of your drawings and make them more convincing.

Even with these free previews, I can see why it took Marshall YEARS to finish this course. The scripting and the production quality--- *sunglasses* ---puts things in perspective!

All these years and the Proko channel still making true, encouraging, and realistic content about the fundamentals or art. I will never not recommend this channel.

Marshall I bought your perspective course a number of years ago. It was the BEST money I have ever spent on improving my art. I refer back to it over and over again. ( Some day I might get a full grasp on all the knowledge the it imparts. ) I would encourage everyone to invest in this if in nothing else.

Not surprised to see Marshall getting his students to select their perspective parents/favourites! Such a great approach! Can’t wait to take on this course!

One thing I love about Marhsall's teaching is that he gets you excited about what would seem a boring and intimidating subject like perspective :)Thanks for the great resource as always.
I'm sure things will get more challenging as the course progresses...but here's hoping I can stick with it while having some fun!

I've got you covered on the acronym:

DA FOC

As in "What DA FOC is my drawing missing? What DA FOC should I have left out? Where DA FOC is my pencil?!? I need to practice these!"

I am impatient to get this course when i can ❤ also the bonus with Marshall's way of speaking is that you end up feeling deeply relaxed about the topic you're learning... (which is, actually, very valuable!)

This channel has been a fantastic resource, and the narrator has such a lovely, introspective voice

This video explanation is art it self, I am practicing these things from months I gotten so much better now, I am moving going through anatomy and and facial expressions, once I master this I will move towards inking ❤, it's hard now but I am sure I will be one day able to print my imagination on paper, if not 100 percent then at least 90 to 96% of it 💯👌✨

Marshall your perspective lectures inspire me every time to keep giving perspective a shot. There is knowledge inside these words and I wish I could afford your newest perspective class.
